Experience: I began teaching in 2008 under the direction of my cello professor at Converse College. Since then I have taught children as young as 8 to advanced players. I have the technical ability and musical love to train and nurture students of all abilities and ages. Music is a part of who I am and it has enriched every aspect of my life. What better way to share my love for music then to pass it along to my students?
Teaching Style: Every student, whether child or adult, learns differently and I adjust my lessons accordingly. I use scales and exercises to build the foundation of good technique. By supplementing appropriate solo repertoire, technique is being reinforced and musicianship is being cultivated.
